In the evening, arrival at 21 h at Nicosia Airport of Liliane coming from Orly via Athens (about three hours late on the scheduled timetable!) - Return to Enkomi shortly after 23 hours.
Wednesday 19 September 1966At the Rampart area, the excavations continue with the same workforce as the previous days, moving the diggers as needed and to the areas to be cleaned by the women and men specialists. The washing of the sherds does so far yield no new element compared with last year: homogeneity of the common and coarse pottery of Iron I. Tr. West of the Gate = extra-muros, stone of fine workmanship, which may have served as a weight , at a depth of 1 m 10.
