Friday 23 September 1966 Departure from Nice by Air France Caravelle for Greece, via Rome. Arrival at the Athens airport. Settled into the hotel at Kalamaki, on the Athens road and near the Ellinikon airport.
Saturday 24 September 1966 Arrangements at Piraeus for the voyage to the Cyclades, and then, at the French School where I was lucky enough to meet the two Belgian members, including T. Hackens whom I knew. They confirm the double absence of the director and of the secretary general: I will therefore see them only on return from the islands at the beginning of October. Boarding at Piraeus at 13h00 on the "Pandelis". Stops at PAROS and NAXOS shortly before midnight. Sea like oil.
