Monday 10 October 1966Opening of the excavations in the area of the Rampart, around the West door of the Late Bronze Age town, door cleared during the previous campaign (September 1965). A trench two by four metres in width is opened east of the Rampart, above and in line with the Rue de la Résidence 18 or 5e Rue. Investigations continue in the unfinished "pits".

Tuesday 11 October 1966.

Excavations continue in the sterile layer of mud in the trenches of the Rampart area.

Wednesday 12 October 1966The storm and rain practically stop the excavations from 11 o'clock in the morning. Hence work at camp in the afternoon, continuing the sorting and gluing or marking of the sherds of 1965 and 1966 (for J. Lagarce)
