Saturday 15 November 1969Half-day's work. The excavations continue in the same trenches as the day before. No finds to report before the closing for the workmen's pay. Visit of the Ambassador of Greece and of Mr K. Hadjioannou. With J-P. Nicolardot and L. Bessière I go up to the summit of Troodos, where we spend the night, before touring the southern slopes of the massif, as far as Kouklia ancient Paphos, where we arrive shortly after noon. Visit of the sites surrounding the village in the course of the afternoon, then return to Enkomi, via Limassol and Larnaca, Famagusta.
