ENKOMI 1967 XIXth CAMPAIGN

Monday, 9 October1967

Beginning of the excavation at the rampart - 2 trenches EW of each side of the street - I am in charge of the north trench - A pte NS trench linking the two previous ones, for the workmen in surplus - 13 workmen, instead of 20 planned - In fact, yesterday's storm caused damage in certain villages, in particular at Prastio, where the roofs were torn off - The workmen from Prastio (5) therefore did not come - The unfinished wells still occupy 4 workmen and some women - We will therefore have 24 workmen at the rampart when everything has returned to its normal course -
