On this floor (1), large fragments of pithos - including a frag. of neck Pt. 1460 After taking a photograph of the pottery group, I put the workman back to work, preserving a baulk stratigraphic of the floor with pottery in situ. This baulk borders the W face of the wall we have already mentioned. On its surface, a fragment of pottery appears to be wavy-line type - (Frag. of bowl body and rim ) A rough cleaning in situ shows that it is painted (wavy-line type) - The workman leaves the baulk and at a few cm (c. 5 to 8 cm) he meets a layer which appears ashy - To the E. of the wall, still in the sector 111, on the N edge of the trench, appears a plastered surface with raised edge, which may have been a floor covering of a bathroom floor - It rises against the eastern face of the wall - (1) this must be floor II, floor I not having been observed in this area.
