fragments of a painted jug of strokes (drawing) in disorder, bichrome = brown and red - Small dipper with pointed base, made on the wheel -

Friday 21 October While washing the sherd "with decoration in brown <|>K|> .." (cf. p. 6) which I had set aside to wash personally, I realise that it is not a decoration, but an INSCRIPTION (photo Mr Forrer, drawing L. Courtois) - Thanks to its position in a well, this inscription is well dated = Cypriot Iron I (cf., e.g., jar intact, idtical to that of T. 5 of E.A I) As wavy-line gives way, towards 5,50-5,80 m, to cups with horizontal bands zontal, and a jug with a strainer spout with decoration bichrome (cf. top of this and p. 8 page), the series stratigraphic is clear (cf. p. 9)
