Wednesday 3 November 1965The trench 7.10 to 7.27 E is coming to an end, and the morning yields several finds of interest: a toggle-pin in sil- ver gilt, pt. 1436 in the clay grey resting on a thin white floor of the Middle Bronze, situated above the rock.

Further to the North, two figurines of baked clay 1434 + 1435 clay, of very different style, are uncovered in the area to the east of Tomb 1394, with a handle of a large vessel in bronze (cf. notes and sketch Dr . Robinson ). Meanwhile, I take wide-angle photographs in the chamber tombs 1394 1409 and 1432 as well as views of the broad foundations of the spacious houses of this same quarter.
