Tuesday 19 October 1965Sector 6.14 E, large limestone stone with a hole, irregular trapezium pt. top. 1404 at 1 m 50 which may have served as a counterweight (puits neighbouring to the south, of diam. 77 to 85 cm) or perhaps an anchor?

Drawing: trapezoidal stone with a circular hole and cross-section below; labels: trou = 7 à 8 cm Φ; 42 x 37 x 7 cm

Sector 6.23 E, the interest of pt. top. 1403 (1) grows in importance as a result of the cleaning of the remains of the house of the Middle Bronze and Late Bronze 1 (stratigraphy to be studied closely, recognised here, almost a unique case at Enkomi where generally the Middle Bronze appears only in mixed pockets). Sector 6.11 E, "pit" rich in pottery broken, base-ring ware, milk-bowl, etc. (1) = sector of the "jarre télévisée" . . 5 E
