In Sounding B the revetment wall α which had been seen in Sounding A as belonging to Level II is removed in order to take sounding across to Cyclopaean blocks. The stones of the revetment are roughly spherical just less than 50 cms. in diam. In the pit β was found a large handled jug slightly crushed by fall of Level II but with all its pieces in place. Pit is given the pt. 1348 In pit a bone stylus found.

Drawing: outline of a pointed object; labels: 2.3 cm.; 4.5 cm.
