Saturday 18 September 1965 4th day of the area -

Continuation of the clearing in the areas North and South - After cleaning in the area South, it appears more clearly that the "rough paving" was built in two phases - One can suppose as the primitive the central bench whose limit West is perfectly straight. In the hypothesis that the blocks of the rampart were placed later than this first "paving", the gap between it and the rampart would have been filled after the laying of the blocks - It is still too early to verify this hypothesis, but one must wait for the opening of a trench towards the East, so as to have a larger cleared surface.
