a limestone slab appears, trapezoidal in shape irregular, whose W, N, and E edges are raised relative to the very flat centre. on the flat surface appears an incised line which I would readily liken to a free interpretation of the plan of the town. – a single strongly marked incision running N-S – crossed by 4 transverse E-W de lines, the most northerly strongly marked, perhaps the representation of E-W street 3 where the slab was found. – an irregular peripheral belt bearing – a very marked NW angle – the intersection of an E-W trace with on the W a offset of the enceinte supposed (W gate) – the junction of the E-W streets with parallels to the E enceinte could show that these streets come to an end on the slope of the cliff (identical to contour lines) – note crossroads SW part (Aitken sounding – problem of the sign indicating approximatt. the Dikaios trench (1st Horned God) – several parallels to the supposed E enceinte (indication of cliff on the actual slope of the slab.
