Thursday 19 September 1963In the morning the trench is completed North Temple of J. Lagarce. A new trench is opened on from it towards the west after lunch. In the Ouest Dallage trench, some fragments of bronze objects are uncovered at - 1,90 / 2 m 10 depth sector 1, under a brown-red heap of mud brick. A large jug appeared shortly after, near a human skull. This group corresponds to pt. top. 979 (see photos of 28-X-63) In the area of the Sanctuary of the Centaurs the (unfinished) stripping of floor III confirmed the existence of white lime plaster against the north wall and also against the bench-wall internal, which clearly dates from a later phase of the Sanctuary.
