A large number of JFD negatives have been filed in the UM neg. file with UM neg. nos. These nos. have been entered on the JFD film lists. But there remain an extremely large number of entries on the film lists without UM neg. nos. Some negs may have been filed earlier and their numbers will have to be [handwritten: dug] out from the UM neg. files. Probably also many negs. are still in the Cyprus metal cabinet. We will have to turn out the cabinet's contents some day to see if we can find them. Probably also it will be a good idea to recheck the Cyprus basement where a number of negatives were once stored.
