Mi 370 63-1-123 silver ring with green "stone" O

[photograph] Film VG 15 1:2

The ring is made of sheet silver, folded into a tube for the band to go round the finger, the outside ends of the tube spreading to form the two sides of a socket for the stone, the inside fold apparently continued as backing for the stone. The two sides of the socket did not meet but supported the stone at its ends and alternate adjoining sides (see sketch) or just bent this way? The stone is an oval lentoid of sea green glass(?). yes emerald

the silver (apparently now all corrosion) in two pairs of joined frags., which do not join each other but make up most of the ring, plus a non-joining frag. (and a couple of bits) from the backing of the stone
