The support is pointed at its end; two grooves & two ridges run down its longitudinal axis, and a single groove on either edge. The end of the blade extending beyound the end of the support is missing. The strigil would appear to be otherwise complete save for two small pieces in under side of handle.

Handle found broken in 3 pieces; mended; blade & blade support found intact. Bronze badly affected by bronze desease; worse parts covered with wax to preserve it from further disentigration.
