MCF. Notes Bags of finds that have been studied or from which objects have been removed, are given a catalogue number B 1, B 2 etc. these bags so catalogued are not stacked by their numbers but are kept in their old typographical divisions in the little Apotheke. Any object removed from bags are listed on the bag catalogue card; this includes

a catalogued objects uncatalogued finds in MCF. Note book Sherds put in drawes under their bag number; many sherds are of course catalogued

These lists of removed objects should not be considered as complete unless specifically so stated.

The find place usually is not put on the catalogues if the bag has been catalogued and given (mostly sherds) has been catalogues a number; one is simply refered to the bag catalologue where the find place is stated. [handwritten: Thus System ligeri Bruce Lord] ure
