Coarse, reddish brown clay, fired grey brown. Surface now has much white accretion but may once have had a self-slip. Paint dull matt purple brown. Mended together are two portions of shoulder and neck, joining but not joined because point of contact is too slight. Many \+ two small non-joining fragments. Neck straight or slightly concave, separated from shoulder by a slight depression. Shoulder short and sloping steeply to curve, narrow below which belly wall is away apparently rather sharply. Shape probably ovoid but no trace of base is left. Stub of one handle from shoulder vertically preserved.
