Drawing: profile of rim and handle

Handles black on outside. Parallel ^vertical bars on outside of rim (which has a convex rounded profile).

Technique of decoration: magenta Black-on Red III(V). Shape accords with this. See: SCE II pl. CXI-CXII (Bichrome IV) ; pl. XCVII - XCVIII (wh p. IV - V) SCTIV - LV # 3-6, 8, L - 10-12

Although decoration is carried out in 3 colors (red, black, & white) the white is only reserved ground so I do not classify this as bichrome red where according to Gjerstad there is use of 'supplementary white paint.'

P 1763, -67, -69, -70, -73 doubtless from same atelier.
