Frag. of painted deep bowl (?) L.C.M. dep?

1954 - 15

neg 65216

Wheelmade Clay light grey brown fired creamy brown at surface. Rather gritty from very fine black sand. Paint matt purple Present 3 joining fragments of wall thickening toward angular transition to another plane. If the rimmer end is up, then the contour suggests a rather squarish deep bowl, although other shapes are certainly not excluded as possibilities. Thin end is slightly curved on outside stripe around upper (rimmer) end and below bend in wall. 4 oblique stripes connecting these.
