Handmade

Clay gray in core to pink at surface, fine and hard, matt slip dull red to purple brown

1954-13 Lower part of jug handle with small portion of belly, tapering slightly upward, sides flat. two deep incised lines from base of handle upwards. Base Red on monochrome ware.

Width of handle at base join 4cm greater length 9.5cm.

Bamb plundered tomb probably under 20:1 Label missing 1948 C.T.D., 21.II (17-4-39)
