P2898B-541LC III Dec. bowl

1954-37

Wheelmade Intact but for tiny chips in rim. Clay brown buff fired to pinkish hue in spots, the whole more carefully smoothed than the exterior. Exceptionally well sifted with scarcely any pits or pochs inside. Paint matt orange-brown to dark brown. Flattened spherical bowl with wheel corrugations still visible on bottom part outside. Disc base with slightly raised resting surface in form of a ring. This may be more an accidental than designed difference to the usual impressed disc base.
