M1040 B1309 Bronze rod

In two pieces. very badly decayed L. 13.6 and 8.0 cm resp. max. d. .6cm min.d. .4cm

Long slender rod of which one end seems to have been square in section, then becoming round. It seems almost certain the two pieces belonged together, from the consistency of the bronze, but they are too decayed to offer any sure join.

Ticket seems to imply one of these pieces is NO.21 but this is supposed to have an ivory head - of which there is no trace on the 2 objects here.
