Removed sample of fill left in center of dromos bt. 1st-7th steps slightly S. of center. Dug into fault loose chavara mixed with soft brown earth below layer of chavara & brown earth & layer of chavara & layer of gravel & brown earth. Did not dig further in chavara as appears to be virgin. The rubble buttress wall sp. 628-c runs over dull brown earth but the conglomerate stratum rests directly on it though much chavara had fallen from it into space between were ceiling had truly collapsed.
