Mar 25Removed debris at κ to α south side of trench over to wall running west - east - 20 & 40 roughly. Terracotta head of horse found in trench 20cm above floor clump -σ-300+220 (see note 18 finds) and coin on floor 240 (see note 19 ") Mosaic cleaned at 25. and to find it had colours. This uncovered two days ago but had appeared to be without colouring then.

Mar 2619 men - 3 wheel barrows. Began trench south to wall at μ_0 ν_0τι_0ν 0 -

Mar 2719 men. Uncovered large marble column base in return wall running east-west at ξ - 0 β_0ρι_0ν 9-10

Mar 2819 men - uncovered mosaics adjacent to column base north of it & 4 steps leading to it at ξ-0 β_0ρι_0ν 10-16 also similar column base (no 2) in return wall to wall that large column base in in wall to east. Discovered floor β_0ρι_0ν 12 found strip in drain & upper wall, part of drain found last year in row 12. Uncovered large fragment of column very filling to it [illegible] cleaned to mosaics ξ-0 β_0ρι_0ν 10-16 w. spade extended south trench -0 to ν_0τι_0ν 10 Found another marble column ^{\textcircled{3}} base well preserved (like the smaller one β_0ρι_0ν 12) at ξ-0, ν_0τι_0ν 13 (not in situ) 45×45 found another column base ^{\textcircled{4}} marble, 46×46 well made, smaller than previous one
