[margin left: 2957-2 0.70-1.70 n. s. of S. wall between S & SE Bldgs.] Removed same area as on 8 Jan 2957-2, compact fill of dark soil with good many stones averaging between egg and fist size. about 1/3 bucket sherds & about 1/3 bucket tiles which I have thrown out; one glass frag F 1978 and 1 pot handle with incised 1979 character. No other Coin F1980 found at bottom of strat. at 1.50 m below window sill of Guard House. No other finds.
