2917-1 Extended 2917-1 to 1.40 m S. of S. wall. removed from 2917-1 3 non dscript sherds + 3 tile frags all thrown out.
2917-3 Removed 2917-3 from 00- 1.40 m south darkish loose soil with rough stones, a good many, averaging about egg to fist size. 7 tile frags which I am stacking on wall foundation S2 handfuls of sherds. No other finds.

Removed 00-1.90 m south of e. wall of corridor 1, of S. Bldg. 2941-1 to find whether this wall had projected further south at one time (if it is earlier than bldg. of 101 A.D.). Removed 1 tile frag. thrown out. about 3 handfuls of sherds.
