2905-1 (S) against W. stylobate wall. Loose, reddish soil with hardly any stones - none larger than walnut in size. See Film 160-34. No trace of early chavara wall found north of early rubble wall. No other finds.
room 3 Removed S. Bldg. room 3 under pavement at S. end of center p. 2833-6, loose brown soil with three stones, about 1/2 bucket in size; about 2 handfuls of sherds, no tiles, no other finds.

2833-7 Removed also p 2833-7 reddish moderately hard fill, about 1 bucket full of stones averaging slightly less than foot size; 8 sherds only. No tiles. No other finds. Rock bottom. The rubble stylobate wall is founded on rock - same character as south face as seen inside store room. No sign of footing trench.
