1 March51 Removed room 5, west side, 2.45 - 5.40 m. south of N. wall, 2529-1, reddish loose soil, with small rough stones only, averaging egg size, about 1/5 bucket sherds, 2 tile frags which I am throwing out, and 1 pipe frag. which I have placed among sherds. Ribbed ware. No other finds. Room 5 2.45 - 5.40 S. of N. wall 2529-1 west side
Removed also west side just south of step at north end worked block (Arch bl. no ) to W. wall. See Film 150-25. Removed soil under block down to level of top of 2529-2. 5.40-11.55 N. of S. wall 2523-2
Removed also west side 5.40- 11.55 north of S. wall, p2523-2, on either side of early wall, loose reddish soil, many rough stones, averaging about fist size with two or three up to bucket size, about 1/2 bucket
