Room 3 center cont from p. 2423 Remeasuring the center with greater care I find that the distance from the S. face of the main threshold block in n. wall (at east end of block) to the north face of the S. stylobate where it is least weathered & projects most toward north. is 13.93 From center of block to center of s. stylobate, however, it is 13.95 and from west end of block to s.w. corner of s. stylobate it is 13.498.
The width of the w. stylobate foundation wall in room 5 is about 86 cm. The column bases in situ (approx) are in from the e. edge of the stylobate about 0.32 m. The width of the base 0.54 m brings the west face of the base flush with the west face of the foundation wall.
In restoring the stylobates of room 3 I have placed
