room 4 Removed room 4, west w. side side, 1.70-5.30 n. of S. 1.70-5.30 wall, 2321-5, few stones n. of S. wall only, averaging fist size. 2321-5 none larger or few. loose d darkish brown soil; no tiles; about 1/5 bucket sherds; no other finds. Sieve From sieve came about 1/2 bucket sherds, no and some animal bones which I have placed in box in sieve bag. No other finds.
16 Dec. 50 room 5 Removed S. Bldg. room 5, w. side w. side, 2445-1, in trench 5.50-7.50 started before war for n. of S. wall which see p. 485. At 2445-1 5.50-7.50 n. of S. wall, removed p. 2445-1, hard reddish soil, about 3 or 4 buckets of rough stones averaging about egg size largest ones being fist size.
