XI / 5 / 47 Finished cleaning loose tiles from entire St. 1 W area of began pushing. 2 sacks T.C.'s
Oct. 30, 1947 Started with two keepers, finished big tile dump (1) being 3:30. Apparently no discernable distinction between various dumps so continued on with Pile 1, continuing tiles with previous solid ones. Dumped over large solid area. trunk of very large b. g. rouletted plate, frag. of Roman glass beaker, 3 moulding, marble frag., tc G. McF. Finished Pile 1 at 4:00 Brought in 4 sacks, T.C.'s, graffiti, lamps etc.
Oct. 31, 1947 Finished Pile 1 at 8:30 A.M. - same two keepers, went on with pile 3. Finished Pile 3 at 10:00. Began Pile 4. Finished Pile 4 at 1:30. Began more southerly tile dumps. Brought in 1 sack T.C.'s etc.
Nov. 1, 1947 Finished So. section of St. 1 west of cleared area. 1 sack.
Nov. 3, 1947 Finished area facing So. bldg. & started cleaning Burpus in 2 sacks, 1 T. C.'s, 1 graffiti etc.
Nov. 4, 1947. Finished cleaning So, area & went through bldg. No. pill. St. 1 W, (MD remainder). Started pushing up loose tile St. 1 W. Over 2 sacks.
