S.E. Bldg. 15 June 50 E 24-28 S 0-11.50 Removed S.E. Bldg. E 24-28, N 0-2 S 0-11.50; N 0-2; 2173-1, 2173-1 loose dull brown soil many small rough stones averaging about fist size to 1/2 bucket size; a little over a bucket of shards, and about 3 buckets of tiles which I have stacked up on wall at E. 24, S. 6. From here F 1338 came F 1338-9. Threw out 1339 3 small glass frags, and small non descript metal frag. No other finds. Before removing 2173-1 I removed turf to depth of 2 or 3 centimeters. The bottom of 2173-1 appears to be a ground level. This is about certain as it is the level upon which all the debris have fall.
