[margin left: S.E. Bldg. Court intercolumniation setting up 235] Set up fallen shaft, drum, of column no. 235 [see draughtsman's catalogue] on S. stylobate of S.E. Bldg court at 4.905 m. east of w. wall of court [w. stylobate] being what I have computed to be 2 intercolum[illegible] 2 x 2.4525 m. or one fourth of the distance between the east stylobate wall and the west stylobate. At this point on the south stylobate it is easy to distinguish the area of the stone where the drum stood. See Film 141- 1, 2, 3 + 4. The distance between the east and west stylobate wall is slightly less than the distance between the point of meeting of the two engaged half columns on the S.W. corner and the point on the S.E. corner which appears to have been under the central axis of the column that once stood there. This last distance is 5 x 2.4525.
