Temp. A E. cella center 1969-1 about 1/2 bucket of sherds, and 1 bucket of tiles - placed tiles on west wall of center at 8.00 north. No other finds.
w.cella 1903-2 N 5-8 center Removed Temp. A, w. cella, north 5-8, w. half, 1903-2, white fill, mostly chavara, no stones, a little red soil under white soil over early wall removed with it; about 1/8 bucket of sherds; 3 small tile frogs only - 2 nondescript - 3rd placed /w. sherds. No finds. For sieve see p. 2066
1903-1 N 0-3 [margin left: For stones, Film 139-30 cont p. 2218] Removed also w. cella, center, w. half, north, 1-3, 1903-1 red loose soil with many rough stones of various size, about 1 bucket of sherds & 1/2 bucket of tiles. Placed tiles on s. wall at s.e. corner of center. No other finds. For this area after removing 1903-1 see Film 139-28 Sieved 1903-1 N 1-3. Shall record finds from sieve later.
