Removed also tiles from Trench 11, S 12-18, E 10-14, upper debris in black soil, rough stones, worked blocks and piled them up in stack measuring 0.90 X 0.84 X 0.21 in quadrangle at 0.64m from south wall of quadrangle. See Film 135-25. Removed from same area 1/2 bucket of sherds. From Trench 11 E 0-14, N 0-4 removed about 1 bucket of sherds from surface soil along down to upper debris. From E 0-14, S 2-4 surface soil down to upper debris removed 1/4 bucket of sherds. Removed from S 0-2 E 1-6 1667-1 1667-1, less than 1/4 bucket sherds 1667-2 and 2 tile frags only - thrown out. (tiles). From 1667-2 S 0-2 E 1-6 removed 1/5 bucket sherds and about 4 buckets of tiles [lower debris in red soil - loose with many rough stones - a few worked blocks removed to side of trench.
