room 61, 2, 3, 4DIARY 1622 from p. 1616 Soil in room 6 (n. part where some of old wheel barrow track is being removed. Debris in rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 all in in loose brown soil. Debris just under east wall of temple also in loose brown soil. Mehmet removing debris in room 4. Removing turf w. end of room 6 where there is little or no debris. The debris of rubble in this room does not extend more than a meter w. of east wall of room.

Began clearing to floor level of nave of east west cella central portion in Temple A. Some of this [margin left: w. cella] had been cleared before past but much new soil has been washed in
