Mr. Hill continues removing fallen wall in alley. See Film 110 #22. Finished removing strat 10, trench 9 17-i north 2-6. Debris here is quite different from that found north 6-12. See Film 110 # 33. Began trench in kitchen, s.w. of E side, east side along east wall below floor level down to rock. Trench 7 4 to wall running east-west dug down to rock, foundation for wall and a little further down south of it where rock appears to have been cut. Removing dump on east side of Temple A stairway, continuing to clear precinct wall on east periphery of site. For kitchen see section p 1013. Strat 1, and a section of 2 excavated before war. Strat. 1 consisted of debris - mainly fallen wall. Strat 2 was a very clean strat of earth which covered the floor. Strat. 3, is that lying under the floor level and over the bed rock. Strat 4. lies below the level of the rock where this has been cut.
