Much of soil here very powdery and grey in color - could this be result of fire not at all characteristic of soil which has been darkened only by vegetation + no stones only from 0-2 west. Began removing 2d strat west side of room south of E. Bldg. See film 110 #1 and section p. 971. First stratum here removed before year. West side of room would be Trench 7, E-H+, west 0-2+ to wall.
