End Autumn Season
19 April 1948Began cleaning certain area of great growth of grass made this year. About 12 men. Joe Last and Christofis drawing stones as they appear in plan on site of Temple A. At south end of Street 1 examined drain under pavement. Found usual accumulation of silt which shows that drain was in use after the construction of the pavement.
20. April 1948 Continued cleaning site of wild grass, thistles, etc. Cutting grass between Street 1 and Temple A with power mower. Began digging Trench 9, cont. opp. 914
