Notes on South Building East face of stylobate to central point where column stood on base 2 is 59 but 60.5 for Base 1 1.5 cm. difference

West face of Base 1 projects off stylobate west of west face of stylobate West face of Base 2 is directly over west face of stylobate.

If face of Base 1 is brought in 4 cm to lie over west face of stylobate Base 2 must go in 1.5 cm. east of west face in order to have columns in line if these they are to be placed on their original positions on the bases in this axis. - Done

April 15, 1936If the two bases were placed then so that central axis of the two columns coincided the columms would not both be centered with respect to the stylobate. North base slightly further west. This may be accidental. If bases were at north level with each other

26.7 / 35.3 / 62.062.00 + 174.5 (dist. between bases)Base 1/2 centre of do column [illegible] stand on W. face of base? Base 2 – fr. centre of col column where column stood to west edge of stylobate = 59.
