Achmet now clears for me another bit of allegedly same cranium. Its level looks to be not much lower than that resting surface of pot #1. This level at this NW part of tomb
2.) still mostly covered. Some bones perhaps a little lower than the cranium extending into cleared part N of 2 glass 10, 11 flasks. Below, highest distinct group
3.) seem to be child [breast? [next the inverted glass 28 bowl] Below this,
4.) [woman] of whom legs in order, & parts of pelvis and vertebrae and some teeth. Seem to lie ca. .05 below "child". Associate possibly both glass 20, 28 bowls, the lead 21 cylinder one spatula, silver 29 pin, etc., unguentaria. 32, 33 Being cleared now, quantities of tiny gold 31 leaves among a smeary tawny stuff extending beyond where head might be expected. These seem to be at level [of burial under discussion] but anomalous bone frags. appear among them. Perhaps unswept floor from previous burial.
5.) swept against bough (east) wall (feet N) prob. before dissolution complete: legs more or less in order head widely separated from pelvis;

most of its bones then probably -- cranium frags. S of pelvis [associate 19 mirror and spatula 18 and some 23, 24 beads].
ca. 4:30 started to dig away earth left by entrance, on which had sat pot #6 Earth stood & partly still stands between .35 & .40 higher than floor on which [more or less ordered skeleton] lies.
Notes of 10/v/40 morning continued clearing slow in entrance. Near doorstone at ca .10 below its bottom a stone with roughly flat surface. Small stones beside it. Possibly a roughly stepped way down from doorway as Achmet thinks.
Cooperation with architect [JSL] to get numbering of objects already drawn and nails set to assist future drawing. [See over page for list]
afternoon in entrance, rather stony surface .85 below mark on top* of lower door-stone, this surface sloping down (E) from near stony area [seen above] reaching .70 E of doorway
[margin left: * 5.507 below bench mark on well See section P. 50]
