It is to be noticed that at right angles where the wall with well jointed blocks ends on the parallel East wall there is change in the wall and that from that point plaster is used. and that plaster is also used in the North end of of East wall Room C.

the wall which comes from Room B and would seem to be posterior to the line extending of of stones extending from Entrance mosaic. This wall the wall closing the passage way leading to East from Room A is parallel to this wall. Could all three doorways have been blocked up at the same time? It is possible that the wall in Room A while not in same line as that of Room B is not contemporaneous with it, as it rather looks of as if the whole square around the cistern were a much later addition, and this wall would be part of that around the cistern. There are a number of column drums in the area built around the cistern in the wall around cistern and in wall closing East wall closing off Room A. When Room A was closed off what was it used for. If as seems probable it was closed off all the round, it can only to have opened from Room C. Perhaps It cannot have been left vacant, for then there would be no need of closing off East door?
