floor surface. There is a good possibility that some of the stones found among and below the pots on the south side of the tomb at the [-1.46] S-1.26 level may have been thrown over the debris swept back at the [-1.62] S-1.46 level to cover it. Draw and remove pots.

Clear everywhere to the -1.62 level finding on the SW side of the chamber a skeleton, complete except for head, in place: feet toward SE, right leg and right arm crooked, left arm and leg straight. Right arm rests on a stone which appears to be regularly cut but broken, left right lower leg rests on what may be a mud brick. At the same level find many fragments of a WS bowl just below the stoma; along the NE side find a skull (IX), a deep bowl,(?) squat jug, and shallow bowl, the latter two well preserved. The floor space widens toward the NE corner, giving the floor plan constantly a more tetragonal aspect. It seems likely that this skeleton [black rectangle] (X) is also L.C. III Its head must be either skull IX or skull V. Draw and remove skeleton and pots.
