Dig below 6.74 in the W part of 21:17S, finding earth with many small pieces of chavara at 6.? 79. We already had found this floor in the E. center In the S, we found another pit at 6.55, possibly a recent treasure pit. 0.60 down it stops at loose chavara, possibly bed-rock.
31.5.39 Digging below 6.79 find firm clay, light grey with white + red particles, at 6.83. This level is very firm, almost certainly a floor. Two small pits are sunk into it. One west was filled with red. brown earth. The other, east, by the unofficial entrance to Tomb 26, was filled with brown earth with medium stones. Photos Bam. 39 235-236 at 6.83 Start to dig below 6.83 through grey clayey earth with many white particles, and find a floor of chavara plaster, much worn, at Loose brown earth is found in the line of the wall between 17N+S as far as the W wall of 21:17.
