Dig below 7.87 west of the stones. Sandy ish brown earth goes to a chavara plaster floor at 8.12. The earth seems to have been cut near the stones. Remove the clay in the line of the west wall. This too lies on the plaster floor. Photo Bam. 39.196

19.5.39 Remove the stones. They rest on gritty brown earth at 8.03. Dig below 8.03 and find a habitation level of firm grey sandy earth at 8.06. Between 8.06 and the chavara floor is layer after layer of flooring, several with chavara. A pit is cut from the 8.10 level, one of the several grey levels.
