Unit 8: Dig below the 10.26 = 10.37 floor, through sandy brown earth with some lime, to a floor of light brown earth with a great deal of lime and green kpaxos, at 10.30 = 10.40 (see p. 145 151)
Photos Bam 100-102 of unit 17 @ 10.91 = 11.05, unit 18 @ 10.68 = 10.87, unit 19 @ 10.76 = 10.88, unit 21 @ 11.07 = 11.15, and unit 22 @ 11.10
Unit 25 North Extension: Find a level in which the tops of walls appear, enabling the division of the extension into its component parts. We keep the old terms unit 16, 20, + 24, adding units 25 + 26. In unit 25 the earth is sandy and slightly yellowish brown, at 10.59 = 10.74. This is either out of doors or else above the level of tumble. In units 16, 20, and 26 we find what is clearly building tumble, sandy red-brown earth with many stones, at 9.95 = 10.12 in unit 16, 10.27 = 10.50 in unit 20, and 10.59 = 10.72 in unit 26. We start digging below these levels. The earth is greyer over the line of the N. wall of unit 20 and the E. wall of unit 26 in (drawing) the places where stones don't show at this level.
