Unit 1: The inner (E.) west wall also has a Baugrab from the 10.76= to 9.78 (rock) floor, filled with decomposed rock. Clear this out. The wall is built of a narrow row of stones, filled behind with decomposed rock. Dig through the 9.76= 9.98 level, finding βράχος, perhaps not in situ, at 9.76= 10.14, save in the E, where there is an intermediate of sand fill pebble floor. Photos Bam 9.82 of pithos with Baugrab dug out, before removing. (see p. 98, 96 too)

The south Baugrab was filled for the first four or five centimeters with red earth with much decomposed sandstone, below that with nearly pure sandstone. & The E. wall (to unit 8) also has a Baugrab, filled with red earth with gravel and fragments of green βράχος. This stops at the bed rock, and this too is cut from the rock = 9.93 floor.

Unit 12: Dig below the 10.47= 10.53 floor, through sandy red earth with decomposed brick and much broken stone. Began (to p. 101)
