June 1cont'd._ (from p. 13) TRENCH III Λ-Ν (Roman) stroris at meters 18-24 continues to go down. Seems to be changing to Hellenistic. Starting at depth of 2.00 begin digging in layers of 0.20, keeping sherds separate. This depth of 2.00 is that of 0.70 below the change in the wall from m. 18-20 Thus the first measured dig is from 0.70 to 0.90 below the change of the wall. This change in the wall will be the unit of measure in this section (18-24) from now on.
