24 & 25 Jan. 51. Took down column 4, counting from north, on west stylobate of room 3, S. Bldg. See Architectural Notes 2486 ff. It had been set up too near the edge of stylobate and not quite at right position on it. Placed new block on stylobate wall and a new plinth over it. The plinth that had been used probably was the one for column 3 on east stylobate as it was found very near place that column probably stood.

26 & 27 Jan. Set up column 4, room 3, w. stylobate in more accurate position.

Measuring from line of west end of west threshold (main threshold, s. face) to line of s. stylobate we have 14.02 m. or 0.09 m. more than when measuring from east end of main threshold. Hence calculating as above we have 14.02 .22 .27 14.61 - 2.48 5 / 12.13 2.426
